Early days of my carrier [5/7] - Meeting Barbara Schönenberg was definitely a highlight of this production. It was also my early days in Berlin, and I wasn’t really aware of who she was. She was very professional and incredibly kind to me. I can’t remember how many times we shot the scene where the sauce dripped over the potatoes — a moment that doesn’t even appear in the final spot. What is now easily solved digitally kept us on set until 2 a.m. the next day. It was quite an experience!
